“I moved into this area three years ago. I was used to an amazing YMCA experience in Mountain View and was hoping for the same in Campbell. One of the first classes I took was the spinning class with Constance. She delivers and then some! She constantly attends training to learn the latest new routines. She loves music and it shows! She has themes to her classes like “Name the Movie That Goes with this Song”; for that event, she provides multiple choice answer sheets so everyone has a chance to win. She organizes fundraisers for the YMCA so that students can go to summer camp. One of those fundraisers is Octoberfest in which she and her family make traditional German foods and she helps host it in the home of a participant from one of her classes. Recently, she had a century ride. I have done it before and it truly motivates all riders! Her children make the awards and she provides YMCA gifts which are great incentives (socks, bags, water bottles, etc.) When riders are new, she goes out of her way to help them set up their bike and encourage them. My nephew (who attends college in Monterey) recently took her class and said that he could see trying to come up to take her class every week. I also know a friend who asked her to be a personal trainer and felt that Constance became not only a great trainer, but a close friend as well; she came to love Constance so much that she invited her as a personal friend to her 40th birthday party.
